Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Netherlands to oversee backend integrity for a healthcare platform serving multiple contexts. You can work remotely or from the office as part of a driven engineering team.

You will lead the backend team, drive reliability and performance improvements, coordinate with the product owner on sprint plans, and mentor engineers while delivering robust code in a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related field, 4+ years engineering experience.
• 1–2 years leadership experience.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Identify and define initiatives to enhance reliability, traceability, and performance.
• Work with the product owner to prioritise timelines and align with objectives.
• Organise sprints and break down projects into user goals with acceptance criteria and QA standards.
• Write high-quality code and lead by example.
