Job summary

Secfi is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build the systems behind private wealth decisions for employees and executives. You will own core services in Python, work with FastAPI or Django, and focus on domain-heavy financial modelling and tax logic.

You'll collaborate with product, design and frontend, turning manual processes into scalable software, and you will measure impact by revenue and user outcomes. Amsterdam-based hybrid role with visa sponsorship and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and production services experience.
• Extensive work with Python web frameworks (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Built customer-facing systems in core products with impact.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• Public cloud experience and scalable services.
• Able to pick the right tool for the problem.
• Track record in unstructured, high-ownership work environments.
• Proactive in understanding the domain and customers.
