Job summary

Priva Energy is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build production-ready services and APIs across Neo Heat, Neo Light, Neo Building, and Neo Smart. You will blend backend work with frontend where needed and strengthen the cloud foundation for scalable operations.

You will join a team focused on optimization and forecasting, while collaborating with other engineers and domain experts to deliver robust, end-to-end solutions in a hybrid Dutch office setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/related field required.
• Around 5 years of software engineering experience with two+ areas (backend/production, cloud infra, frontend, or optimization integration).
• Production experience with systems and ability to discuss past projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs across Priva products.
• Contribute to end-to-end features, including front-end work when it speeds delivery.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices for reliability.
