Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join a collaborative platform team responsible for maturing an enterprise Azure platform. You will apply hands-on engineering to build scalable cloud solutions while contributing to technical design, automation, governance and platform enablement.

You will build and maintain Azure platform capabilities using Terraform, develop reusable infrastructure modules, enable developer self-service, and collaborate with engineers across

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in Terraform and Git.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering.
• Experience building reusable cloud services or self-service capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure platform capabilities using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and platform products for development teams.
• Enable developer self-service through standardized cloud building blocks.
• Design and support infrastructure solutions for business-critical applications and platform services.
• Drive platform automation, governance, standards and best practices.
• Investigate technical challenges, evaluate options and propose scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders across international teams.
