Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own an Azure platform across multiple regions. You will drive technical direction, design, build and run the environment with minimal management layers, coordinating directly with the client’s engineers and architects.

The role requires 8+ years in infra engineering, Azure scale, Terraform/Bicep, and scripting with PowerShell or Python; English fluency is essential, Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years in infrastructure engineering, including Azure at scale.
• Designed and built cloud platforms in multiple organisations.
• Experience with multi-region/global setups, connectivity, identity and security boundaries.
• Terraform or Bicep as default; PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Background in data centre, bare metal or virtualization.
• Able to lead technical discussions with client engineers and architects.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of an Azure platform and its direction.
• Design across multi-region setups and global connectivity.
• Run the incidents and maintain the technical mandate with the client environment.
• Lead the technical discussion with the client’s engineers and architects.
