Job summary

Mammoet seeks a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT Infra team in Schiedam. You will own our Azure and Windows environment, safeguard stability and security, and lead complex projects from design through delivery.

You’ll work with a close-knit team of engineers and support 5,000+ colleagues worldwide. A strong background in Active Directory, Azure, Hyper-V, SQL, PowerShell, and automation is essential, with a drive to continually improve our environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an (all‑round) systems or infrastructure administrator.
• You are independent and can take the lead in major incidents.
• You are a team player and share knowledge across projects.
• You are an analytical thinker who breaks down problems and reasons through impact.
• Excellent communication with IT management and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Azure and Windows environment, ensuring stability and security.
• Be the first point of contact for complex challenges and drive them to resolution.
• Lead complex projects from design to on‑time delivery and contribute to colleagues’ projects.
• Act as sparring partner for IT and business, guiding changes and risk decisions.
• Identify and implement improvements, automate recurring work, and follow through.
