Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen is searching for an experienced Senior Specialist Infra Engineer to maintain and enhance critical infrastructure with a strong focus on migrating to Azure while keeping on-prem systems secure during the transition.

You will work in a modern hybrid environment and collaborate with architects, platform engineers, security specialists and application teams to ensure stability, reliability and future readiness of our infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Broad experience with infrastructure platforms and ability to build reliable IT solutions.
• Strong Linux/UNIX background and familiarity with virtualization and storage.
• Experience with monitoring, patching, automation and security in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux, storage, backup and virtualization platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure improvements, lifecycle management and platform upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and automate tasks for reliability.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and operational controls.
• Support disaster recovery, backup and recovery processes.
• Contribute to security, patching and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to backlog refinement and sprints.
• Contribute to Azure and hybrid environment management and cost awareness.
• Participate in on-call duties as needed.
