Job summary

PropRec Search in Amsterdam seeks an experienced Audio Visual Technical Services Manager to lead and develop a team of Applications Engineers across Europe. The role combines technical leadership, people management, pre-sales support, project delivery and product development for complex AV projects with international clients.

The position requires strong hands-on AV expertise, leadership capabilities and excellent English communication in a fast-paced professional environment.

Qualifications

• Strong and practical AV experience in the field with role in design, programming and commissioning.
• Experience in international environments and ability to guide processes toward solutions.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
• Ability to manage technical staff in AV integration.
• Well-developed training skills to conduct technical training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Applications Engineers delivering high-quality technical support.
• Set and monitor team objectives for technical sales support and customer service.
• Provide technical leadership across complex projects and escalated issues.
• Manage projects involving system design, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer support.
• Support performance management of Applications Engineers.
• Ensure efficient operation aligned with processes and standards.
• Oversee pre-sales support to Sales and Account Managers for complex designs.
• Provide tender and quotation support for major projects.
