Job summary
ChainCraft in Amsterdam is seeking a Lead Project Engineer in Process Control & Automation to build long-term capability in automation for our circular chemistry plants. You will lead control and automation activities, guide contractors, and shape the digitalisation roadmap for flagship projects.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure safe, reliable operations, drive AI-driven process control, and coordinate with process engineers, project managers, and suppliers across Ter
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or HBO-level degree in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in industrial process automation or control engineering.
- Experience leading automation work packages in projects > €5M.
- Hands-on with safety, instrumentation, and plant start-up.
- Strong Dutch and English communication.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical contact for automation projects with contractors and suppliers.
- Shape the digitalisation and automation roadmap for flagship projects.
- Manage and optimise PLC/SCADA-based control systems and configurations.
- Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and start-up.
- Ensure documentation, safety, and standardisation of systems.
