Job summary

Jouw Techniekbaan is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to bridge our factory and global technology/R&D teams. You will drive process development, optimization and troubleshooting to improve efficiency, quality and scalability of production.

Based in the Netherlands with hybrid work options, the role supports daily operations, coordinates scale-up and transfers of new products, and maintains essential technical documentation such as P&IDs and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree.
• At least five years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment, preferably with specialty chemicals.
• Proven experience with process design, process control, scale-up methodologies and process modeling tools.
• Strong project management, data-driven vision, experience with continuous improvement and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, optimization and troubleshooting to increase efficiency, quality and consistency of production.
• Support daily operations with technical expertise and quick resolution of process deviations and production interruptions.
• Coordinate scale-up and technical transfer of new products, including validation and commissioning of installations.
• Create and maintain P&ID's, mass balances, SOPs and technical documentation for sustainable process control.
