Job summary

MSD Malaysia in Haarlem operates a Corporate Audit team delivering value-added independent audit and assurance services to strengthen internal controls and financial transparency. The Senior Specialist Audit will lead and perform financial, operational, IT, and SOX audits, coordinating with directors and stakeholders.

You will work on domestic and international engagements, ensuring high-quality audit programs, accurate issue summaries, and actionable recommendations while upholding integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
• ACCA or CPA license.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of technology and ability to use various applications and systems.
• Strong time management and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of financial, operational, and SOX 404 audits; both domestic and abroad.
• Under the direction of the AIC, partner with colleagues and clients, support groups, and other organizations to complete audit work.
• Execute audit programs and work papers in line with quality standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with the audit team in writing audit summaries of issues, risks, and recommendations.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and independence in the execution of duties with integrity and quality.
• Show good judgment in the conduct of work.
