Job summary

MSD Netherlands is seeking a Senior Specialist Audit to strengthen internal controls across financial, operational, SOX 404, and IT audits. You will collaborate with the Client Audit Director and Auditor-in-Charge to deliver high-quality audit programs both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities include executing audit work, writing summaries of issues and risks, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Must have Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
ACCA or CPA license required.
Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years of audit experience (public accounting).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of technology and ability to use various applications and systems.
Strong time management and teamwork abilities.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Participate in the execution of financial, operational, and SOX 404 audits; domestically and abroad to maintain strong internal controls.
Partner with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to complete all assigned audit work.
Execute audit programs and work papers (walkthroughs and sample testing) per quality standards and timelines.
Collaborate on writing audit summaries describing control concerns, risks, and recommendations.
Maintain professionalism and independence with sound judgment and integrity.
