Job summary

Hanami International is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to lead a 4–6 person senior audit team based in Amsterdam, guiding the Group Internal Audit function to optimise controls, risk management and governance across a global manufacturing platform.

The successful candidate will shape the annual audit plan, oversee complex audits, mentor staff and collaborate with senior management to deliver value through strengthened operational, financial and IT controls.

Qualifications

• Progressive audit experience with senior/manager level.
• Strong leadership experience in industry or professional services.
• Advanced understanding of risk, governance, compliance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated Internal Audit teams to ensure audit coverage.
• Assist in annual audit plan development through risk assessment and stakeholder engagement.
• Participate in IA strategy planning and execution of major projects.
• Provide recommendations to enhance controls while balancing business needs.
