Job summary

Medtronic in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Auditor to join the Corporate Audit team. You will lead and execute audit engagements, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide value beyond compliance.

You will work with a global, diverse team, coach others, and apply a risk-based mindset in a dynamic environment with travel up to 40%. Experience with SOX and US GAAP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in audit, finance, internal controls, or other relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication (verbal and written) skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities in a dynamic and changing environment
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CMA, or MBA is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements across the full audit lifecycle in line with standards and internal methodologies
• Independently perform audit work while reviewing others, identify control gaps, assess root causes, and deliver value-added recommendations
• Coordinate audit activities, manage timelines, and communicate progress and risks to audit leadership
• Plan and lead audit-related meetings and prepare clear, concise audit deliverables
• Build relationships with management and control owners and collaborate across regions and levels
• Coach team members on audit methodology, tools, and processes
• Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant while managing multiple engagements
