Job description

Overview

Senior Associate ESG Assurance at PwC Nederland. We help companies uphold their sustainability ambitions by combining audit skills with the latest technology. As Senior Associate ESG Assurance, you will audit ESG information at clients, mainly CSRD assurance, and help PwC's audit practice develop expertise in ESG.

What will you be doing?

With our expertise, we strive to make the world more sustainable. You will audit CSRD reporting for major clients and support audit teams to prepare other clients. Our open, personal, flexible environment focuses on your development. You will be part of the assurance team under a manager and audit ESG information. You will also learn to conduct client interviews as an ESG specialist. Your main responsibilities are:

Working together in a team to develop, plan and implement an assurance plan for corporate ESG information.
Review CSRD reporting / ESG information at companies, for example KPI’s such as carbon emissions of a client with technical installations or safety incidents in an international environment.
Develop yourself on ESG reporting guidelines such as CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy and GHG Protocol.
Present and make recommendations on ESG reporting related questions with colleagues.
Perform smaller other engagements for our clients, such as workshops and CSRD readiness assessments.

A master’s degree;
A post-master\'s Registered Accountancy course (started or completed);
3+ years of relevant working experience;
Affinity with sustainability and ESG reporting and assurance thereof;
Experience in performing audit work independently, and coaching less experienced team members;
Fluency in both English and Dutch.
