Job summary

NN Group is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to join its Cyber Defense Center. You will lead the secure adoption of AI, integrating AI services into our platforms and monitoring risks across the organization.

You will work with security engineers, platform teams and data scientists to harden AI workloads and ensure scalable, auditable security. Responsibilities include defining AI security architecture, setting telemetry and logging, building patterns for AI and data platforms (Databricks

• Five+ years of professional experience in AI security and related fields.
• Solid understanding of AI, LLM and ML technologies and their security.
• Experience designing AI workflows and integrating them into business processes.
• Confidence working with cloud and DevOps tooling.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of AI security initiatives across CDC platforms, improving security operations and investigations.
• Ensure AI capabilities are deployed securely and are maintainable.
• Build scalable patterns for bringing AI and data platforms into use across the company.
• Set logging requirements and onboard security telemetry from AI platforms.
• Build, tune and maintain security monitoring use cases for AI and data platforms.
• Identify potential attack vectors in AI workloads and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineers, Threat Hunters, SOC analysts and stakeholders to improve AI security capabilities.
• Act as technical lead for projects when needed, coordinating engineers without formal management.
• Make technical decisions aligned with the Product Owner.
• Mentor engineers and promote good engineering practices.
• Improve Azure services and emerging AI technologies and maintain documentation.

AI and the amount of data organizations use are growing fast. To get the most out of AI while keeping it secure, it needs to be integrated into platforms properly and monitored for security risks. That is why we are looking for a Senior AI Security Engineer to join our Cyber Defense Center.

Your impact at NN

You will take the lead on adopting AI technologies securely within the Cyber Defense Center. You will bring together security engineering, platform integration, and AI expertise to build AI capabilities across CDC platforms and help ensure AI services used throughout the organization are monitored appropriately.

The tasks you will perform

• Take ownership of the technical architecture and delivery of assigned AI security initiatives across CDC platforms, helping improve security operations, threat detection, and investigations.
• Make sure AI capabilities are deployed securely and are easy to maintain.
• Build scalable solutions and patterns for bringing AI and data platforms into use across the company, including Databricks or similar environments.
• Set logging requirements and onboard security-relevant telemetry from AI platforms.
• Build, tune and maintain security monitoring use cases for AI and data platforms.
• Look for potential attack vectors and ways AI workloads or their supporting infrastructure could be misused.
• Work closely with Detection Engineers, Threat Hunters, SOC analysts and other business stakeholders to design, implement and improve AI-related security capabilities and workloads.
• Step in as technical lead for individual projects when needed, coordinating and guiding contributing engineers without formally managing them.
• Make technical decisions independently, in alignment with the Product Owner.
• Mentor engineers and encourage good engineering practices.
• Keep improving how we work and create modern Azure services and emerging AI technologies.
• Keep documentation clear and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

The knowledge and experience you bring

• More than five years of professional experience.
• A solid understanding of AI, LLM and ML technologies and their security.
• Experience designing AI workflows and integrating them into business processes and third-party systems.
• Confidence working with cloud and DevOps tooling.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• The ability to make clear proposals, take technical decisions, and set priorities in your area.

• A university degree.
