Job summary

La Fosse in Amsterdam is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build the core AI infrastructure powering conversational interfaces, AI agents, and automated workflows across a portfolio of platforms.

The role involves hands-on development, integrating multiple LLM providers, implementing RAG architectures, and delivering agents for SEO, content, recommendations, and design-to-dev briefs. Strong governance, security, and mentoring will be essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and building production AI agents and workflows.
• Experience with LLM architectures, RAG and vector databases.
• Strong API design and system integration capabilities.
• Familiarity with security, GDPR governance and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable AI platform underpinning future AI initiatives.
• Integrate multiple LLM providers into a central API layer for the client.
• Implement RAG architectures and vector databases where needed.
• Build conversational AI interfaces for knowledge retrieval, lead generation and recommendations.
• Establish governance, GDPR compliance, security and access management.
• Set up monitoring, logging and operational oversight.
• Coach internal developers and create reusable components.
• Deliver initial agents: SEO & Content, Recommendation & Business Analyst, Design-to-Dev Briefing, MVP Coding agents.
