Job summary

DataSnipper is building Alwin, an Agentic Automation Platform for audit and finance. We seek a Senior Applied AI Engineer to own the applied AI layer of the runtime, shaping agent reasoning, tool access and context management for long-horizon tasks across hundreds of thousands of audit professionals.

You will work with product teams to craft production-ready agent systems and cost-efficient AI workflows. Join a small, high-impact team with a large blast radius and a strong focus on reliability,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with production-grade Python.
• Experience shipping and operating an LLM-powered product in production.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems and tool orchestration.
• Experience with evaluation: datasets, offline/online experiments.
• Fluency with LLM APIs and multiple model providers.

Responsibilities

• Own the base agents: system prompts, context, memory and state for long-running tasks.
• Design tool-layer usage: doc extraction, sandboxes, MCP integrations, abstractions.
• Implement agentic patterns: sub-agents, planning modes, human-in-the-loop.
• Ship end-to-end: prototype to production on Alwin platform.
• Define automated processes to improve agents over time.
