Job summary

DataSnipper seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its AI Agents Team in Amsterdam. You will design and implement AI-powered agents that automate assurance workflows and build production APIs in a Python monorepo.

You will work with Azure, MLflow, and Grafana, contribute to a React interface, and uphold strong security and testing practices in a fast-moving, globally distributed team. This hands-on role offers growth in automated assurance and the chance to shape DataSnipper's category-defining

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem
• Experience building GenAI-based applications
• AI-assisted engineering experience (Claude Code)
• Data-driven Web APIs on cloud platforms
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture and system design
• Testing strategies (unit/integration/E2E) and quality mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered agents that automate assurance workflows
• Build and maintain production APIs and services in a Python monorepo (FastAPI, Pydantic AI, MongoDB)
• Integrate with Azure and its AI services for document intelligence and storage
• Contribute to the React chat interface for an interactive user experience
• Implement security controls aligned with OWASP GenAI security protocols
• Participate in an on-call rotation (second line after SRE)
• Architect services and systems with reusable design
• Mentor others and uphold high code quality and testing standards
• Use MLflow and Grafana to improve system stability
• Collaborate with product partners and document decisions
