DataSnipper is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Agents Team in Amsterdam. You will architect and implement AI-powered agents that orchestrate the full assurance lifecycle, integrating with Excel workflows and document intelligence to reduce manual effort and accelerate audit outcomes.

You will design production-grade APIs, work across Python tooling, and collaborate with a fast-moving team to shape scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineer with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience building GenAI-based applications.
• Proficient in Python and its ecosystem.
• Experience deploying web APIs in production.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered agents that automate assurance workflows.
• Build production APIs and services in a Python monorepo (FastAPI, Pydantic AI, MongoDB).
• Integrate with Azure and its AI services for document intelligence and cloud infra.
• Contribute to the React chat interface for an interactive user experience.
• Mentor teammates and raise engineering standards; ensure testability and quality.
