Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Benelux Accounting team in Amsterdam. You will support the Netherlands and Nordic finance requirements, focusing on revenue recognition under US GAAP and IFRS, and contribute to monthly closes and financial reporting.

You will collaborate with the EMEA Finance team to prepare statutory accounts, manage intercompany reconciliations, and ensure SOX controls are embedded.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and a degree-level accounting qualification.
• Qualified Accountant with multiple years PQE.
• Technical knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS15 revenue recognition.
• Experience with Dutch GAAP and reporting to US‑listed entities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in country finance accounting, mainly revenue recognition and close processes.
• Prepare monthly revenue estimates and journal entries; reconcile ledgers.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations and monthly interest accruals.
• Support statutory accounts preparation and filings; assist external audits.
