Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a Senior Account Security Analyst to lead large-scale incident analysis and advance detection, prevention, and response capabilities. You will mentor junior staff, drive security projects with Product and Engineering teams, and act as a SME for account security threats.

The role includes coordinating with external stakeholders and refining analytic processes, while maintaining high standards of operations and documentation across the Security organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or Information Security or equivalent certifications.
• 5–8 years of relevant security experience with incident response.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience partnering with Product/Engineering teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale incident analysis and drive incident response improvements.
• Develop detection and prevention strategies with Product & Engineering teams.
• Mentor Junior and Core analysts and share best practices.
• Own forensics and analytics topics; review retrospectives and analytics.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and third-party vendors as needed.
• Create metrics and reports to improve customer experience and security.
