The European Patent Office in the Netherlands seeks candidates specialized in Semiconductor Packaging technology, with a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, and a strong track record in deep technical analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent/higher) covering one or more technical fields mentioned above
• Excellent knowledge (at least C1) of English and ability to understand French and German; or excellent knowledge of English with willingness to learn other languages to B2 within set time frame
• Citizenship of a member state of the European Patent Organisation

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inventions long before they reach the public in semiconductor packaging technology.
• Apply technical expertise to assess the quality and potential of inventions.
