Anthesis Group is seeking a Regulation Expert in Packaging to join our Circularity and Value Chain Transformation team in the Netherlands. You will bridge complex legislation—like PPWR and EPR—and translate it into practical business requirements across global projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Packaging Engineering or related field, 10+ years of packaging experience, deep regulatory knowledge, strong data literacy, and proven ability to lead client engagements in a consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of packaging experience with a strong track record.
• Experience across packaging engineering and consulting.
• In-house experience with brands/retailers/SMEs valued.
• Deep knowledge of packaging regulations (SUPD, PPWR, EPR) and recyclability.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects delivering high-impact regulatory work for clients.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on standards and trends.
• Draft reports and presentations to inform strategic decisions.
• Conduct regulatory deep-dives and readiness assessments.
• Build and grow client relationships and lead proposals.
