Job summary

Nearfield Instruments seeks an Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer to join its state-of-the-art metrology systems team. You will work in the ISO 5 clean room and labs, ensuring all modules are integrated correctly to deliver high-performance machines for world-leading chipmakers.

Required are 2+ years hands-on AIT experience on complex systems, proficiency with hand tools and measurement equipment, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in assembly, integration and testing of complex systems.
• Ability to read drawings and build/modify mechanical parts.
• Experience with measurement equipment and safety standards.
• Proficient in professional-level English essential for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble parts based on drawings and instructions.
• Perform partial tests on semifinished products and systems.
• Check components meet quality standards and safety requirements.
• Work with planning and timelines, flag bottlenecks early.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams.
