We are looking for AIT Technicians with a background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics and 2 + years of experience in a similar role, within a high‑tech industry.

You will work within the System Integration team, on a state‑of‑the‑art Metrology machine, in a ISO 5 clean room and laboratories. You will have the opportunity to spend periods abroad during system installation at the customer site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and systems based on technical drawings and instructions—this includes tasks such as building switch panels, routing cables, and assembling mechanical parts.
  • Perform partial tests on subassemblies and systems, in collaboration with the team lead and/or colleagues.
  • Verify that all required components are available and meet defined quality standards.
  • Consistently follow safety protocols and proactively identify and report potential risks.
  • Work according to planning, tasks, and set timelines—promptly communicate any expected issues or delays.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, use materials responsibly, and ensure timely maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and colleagues from other departments to support shared goals.
Skills and Experience needed
  • Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Mechatronics, Maritime Technology, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) of highly complex systems—such as semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomical instruments, flight simulators, or similar high‑tech domains.
  • Skilled in working with hand tools and measurement instruments.
  • Solid understanding of material properties and their application in high‑precision environments.
  • Availability to work on‑site in the cleanroom environment, 5 days a week.
  • Proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
