Job summary

Nearfield Instruments is seeking an Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer to work on state-of-the-art semiconductor metrology systems in our ISO 5 clean room and labs. You will ensure that all sub-modules are integrated correctly to produce high-performing machines for clients.

Requirements include hands-on AIT experience on complex systems, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to work on-site five days a week in shifts.

Qualifications

• Education in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Avionics, Mechatronics, or similar.
• At least 2 years of hands-on AIT experience on highly complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble parts from drawings and instructions (switch panels, cables, mechanical parts).
• Perform (partial) tests on semifinished products and systems with team lead.
• Check components meet required quality standards.
• Follow safety requirements and identify risks.
• Coordinate with planning and set timelines; flag bottlenecks early.
• Maintain tidy workspace and ensure proper maintenance.
