Job summary

Tergos is seeking a Security Solution Architect for a valued client to support a portfolio of cybersecurity initiatives within Security Operations. The architect will drive solution architecture across multiple workstreams, including establishing a SecOps framework and standards.

The role covers access governance, SIEM integrations, RFPs, vendor evaluations, and data protection initiatives, with hybrid work in the Utrecht area. 6-month freelance contract, hourly rate to be agreed.

Qualifications

• Proven Security Solution Architecture experience in large enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Information Protection, Data Security, and Information Rights Management.
• Strong understanding of Access Governance and Identity-related controls.
• Experience with Email Security, Cloud Security, SIEM integrations, and Security Operations.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with vendor assessments, product evaluations, and security-related RFP processes.

Job description

For a valued client of Tergos, I am for a Security Solution Architect to support a portfolio of strategic cybersecurity and information protection initiatives within the Security Operations organization.

The architect will be responsible for driving solution architecture activities across multiple workstreams, including:

• Establishing the SecOps Solution Architecture Framework and standards.
• Defining and implementing Access Governance and Access Management standards.
• Supporting and finalizing BigID implementation, including architecture and operational documentation.
• Supporting rollout of the new data labeling scheme and alignment with updated policies.
• Leading requirements gathering and vendor evaluation activities for the removal of non-business content initiative.
• Supporting Secure Phones initiatives, including Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) and Secure Communications evaluations and solution design.
• Driving DLP tool rationalization, product selection, and architecture documentation.
• Accelerating Insider Risk Management (IRM) implementation activities.
• Defining governance, requirements, use cases, and onboarding approach for Wiz Defend.
• Creating architecture documentation and onboarding support for Microsoft Intune Advanced Analytics.
• Leading the Mail Security RFP and vendor selection process.
• Supporting Sandfly Security architecture, onboarding, and implementation activities.
