Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Security Solution Architect for a 12-month freelance contract in North Brabant. The role focuses on Security Operations, Information Protection and Cyber Security capabilities, with hybrid working arrangements.

You will develop architecture frameworks, governance, solution designs and support vendor selection across security domains, reporting to senior stakeholders. Strong enterprise security experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Solution Architect / Security Architect in a large enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of Information Protection, Data Security and Information Rights Management.
• Experience with Access Governance and Identity and Access Management.
• Good understanding of DLP and Insider Risk Management.
• Exposure to Email Security, Cloud Security, SIEM and Security Operations.
• Experience with security governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
• A track record of security product/vendor assessments.
• Experience supporting RFPs, POCs and technology selection.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• The ability to translate complex security requirements into clear architectural solutions.

Security Solution Architect | Cyber Security & Information Protection | Hybrid North Brabant | 12 Month Freelance Contract

I’m currently working with a major international technology organisation in North Brabant that is investing heavily in its Security Operations, Information Protection and Cyber Security capabilities.

They are looking for a senior architect to join a strategic portfolio of security initiatives, working across architecture, governance, solution design, vendor selection and implementation.

This is a broad role with significant visibility across the organisation, where you’ll work closely with security, infrastructure, identity, data and business stakeholders to shape and deliver new security capabilities.

You’ll contribute to a wide range of strategic security initiatives, including:

• Establishing and developing Security Operations Solution Architecture frameworks and standards
• Defining Access Governance and Access Management standards and controls
• Supporting enterprise wide Data Security and Information Protection initiatives
• Driving Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy, tooling rationalisation and architecture
• Developing requirements and onboarding approaches for Cloud Security capabilities
• Supporting Email Security strategy, RFPs and vendor selection
• Working on Mobile Threat Defence and Secure Communications initiatives
• Supporting Microsoft Intune / endpoint security analytics architecture and onboarding
• Developing requirements, use cases and governance for new security platforms
• Supporting security tooling implementation, integration and operational readiness
• Working with vendors on assessments, evaluations, POCs and RFP processes

You will be responsible for:

We're interested in experienced Security Architects who can operate comfortably at both strategic and technical levels.

You should have:

• Proven experience as a Security Solution Architect / Security Architect within a large enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of Information Protection, Data Security and Information Rights Management
• Experience with Access Governance, Identity and Access Management
• Good understanding of DLP and Insider Risk Management
• Exposure to Email Security, Cloud Security, SIEM and Security Operations
• Experience working with security governance, risk and compliance frameworks
• A strong track record of security product/vendor assessments
• Experience supporting RFPs, POCs and technology selection
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
• The ability to translate complex security requirements into clear architectural solutions
