Job summary

The Amsterdam Marriott Hotel is seeking a Security Agent to patrol the property, report and investigate incidents, and support other departments at night. Candidates should be hospitality-minded, flexible, and team-oriented, with strong social skills and attention to detail.

Eligible applicants hold a BHV certification, ABM/Beveiliger 2, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years in security within hospitality. English and Dutch language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Certified first aid officer (BHV).
• ABM/Beveiliger 2 level.
• Driver's license.
• Experience in hospitality industry.
• Good level of English and Dutch.
• Preferably 2 years of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and report incidents.
• Investigate incidents and accidents.
• Assist other departments such as concierge, valet, housekeeping, and handle technical requests at night.

What are my responsibilities?

For the position of security agent, you work with our security department. You patrol all areas of the property, and report and investigate incidents and accidents. Besides this, you also help other departments, like the concierge, valet parking, housekeeping, and assist with technical requests at night.

What makes you the perfect fit?

You are strongly hospitality minded, representative and flexible. You like to work in teams, but on the other hand, you can also work alone. You have strong social skills and an eye for detail. But most importantly, you are willing to work at night, and during holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Etc.)

To be eligible for this position you…

• Are a certified first aid officer (BHV)
• Have received ABM / Beveiliger 2 level
• Have a driver’s license
• Have worked within the hospitality industry before
• You have a good level of English and Dutch
• Have preferably 2 years’ experience within security
