Job summary

The Amsterdam Marriott Hotel in Amsterdam is seeking a Security Agent to safeguard guests and property during night shifts. You will patrol all areas, report incidents, and assist with concierge, valet, housekeeping, and technical requests as needed.

Ideal candidates are hospitality-minded, team-oriented, and detail-focused, with fluency in English and Dutch. Night shifts and holidays are required; previous security experience and BHV/Beveiliger 2 licenses are preferred.

What are my responsibilities?

For the position of security agent, you work with our security department. You patrol all areas of the property, and report and investigate incidents and accidents. Besides this, you also help other departments, like the concierge, valet parking, housekeeping, and assist with technical requests at night.

What makes you the perfect fit?

You are strongly hospitality minded, representative and flexible. You like to work in teams, but on the other hand, you can also work alone. You have strong social skills and an eye for detail. But most importantly, you are willing to work at night, and during holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Etc.)

To be eligible for this position you…

• Are a certified first aid officer (BHV)

• Have received ABM / Beveiliger 2 level

• Have a driver’s license

• Have worked within the hospitality industry before

• You have a good level of English and Dutch

• Have preferably 2 years’ experience within security
