Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is seeking an afternoon-housekeeping general service staff to maintain the lobby, corridors, and public spaces to 5-star standards. You will help ensure a welcoming environment for guests and report any issues to supervisors.

Job description

As a Housekeeping General Service Staff (afternoon shift) at Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam in Amsterdam, you will work alongside your colleagues to maintain our beautiful public spaces in the iconic Scheepvaarthuis, right in the city center. Your efforts ensure that guests feel welcome and comfortable! In this role as a general service staff member, cleaning staff, or housekeeping attendant, you are the face of our hotel during the evening hours.

What will you be doing?

• Cleaning and keeping the lobby, corridors, elevators, and public restrooms tidy with an eye for hospitality.
• Ensuring a fresh, well-kept appearance of the entire hotel in accordance with 5-star standards.
• Identifying any issues or defects in the public areas and reporting them to the supervisor.
• Restocking supplies in restrooms and meeting rooms.
• Ensuring that all hospitality standards and hygiene regulations of our hotel are adhered to.

The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center.
