Job summary

Independer is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen our IT security posture across cloud, network and applications. You will implement security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams.

You will integrate security into the SDLC (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management) and drive risk-based decisions with stakeholders. Hybrid work is supported, with a focus on secure design and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing security controls for cloud, network and applications.
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and risk analyses.
• Proficient in monitoring security events and incident response coordination.
• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management).
• Advising teams on security governance, compliance and secure design.
