Job summary

Empiric is seeking an experienced Security Architect for a 12-month contract in the Netherlands (Utrecht). The role is hands-on and will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, requiring Dutch language skills and a Dutch passport.

You will apply knowledge of network security, IAM, PKI, HSMs, and Linux/container technologies to analyze and resolve complex enterprise issues, while collaborating with suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

• Dutch speaking and writing with Dutch passport; willing to be screened.
• Knowledge of network technologies at low level (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, TLS).
• Experience with software development and scripting (Go, Java).
• Knowledge of IAM, PKI and cryptographic solutions, including HSMs.
• Experience analyzing and resolving complex technical issues in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of security architectures and underlying components.
• Good Linux and container technology skills.

Job description

Our customer, a large international organisation, are looking for an experienced Security Architect to join their team for an initial 12 month contract. This will be still working in a very hands-on manner, they are looking for someone who can be the link between the technical teams and the business stakeholders.

Required skills :

• Dutch speaking and writing and Dutch passport, willing to be screened.
• Knowledge of network technologies, preferably at a low level (including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, TLS, and network protocols).
• Recent experience with or demonstrable affinity for software development and scripting (e.g., Go, Java, or similar programming languages).
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and cryptographic solutions, including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
• Experience analyzing and resolving complex technical issues within enterprise environments.
• Understanding of security architectures and the underlying technical components that comprise them.
• Good Linux and container technology skills
