Job summary

Krijn Verwijs, a family-run seafood supplier located on the Oosterschelde, seeks a Pre-Processing Operator to help prepare shellfish for packaging. You will unload ships and trucks using forklifts and cranes, and ensure products reach the right location on time for production.

You will set up and operate machines, perform basic maintenance, and keep the workspace safe and clean, contributing to high product quality and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• MBO working and thinking level, preferably technical.
• Flexible, motivated and stress-resistant.
• Experience with forklifts or cranes is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload ships and trucks; ensure products reach the correct location.
• Set up and operate machines; perform basic maintenance or small repairs.
• Keep the workspace tidy and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Ensure mussels and shellfish are prepared and ready for production and packaging.
