Job summary

HiSERV Netherlands, based at Schiphol Airport, seeks a Workshop Manager to lead daily workshop operations, optimize processes, and ensure safety and quality. You will coach supervisors and technicians, drive improvements, and maintain excellent customer and stakeholder relations.

The role reports to the Head of Operations Netherlands and offers a clear path for growth within a growing international group. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with residence in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 5-8 years of workshop management or technical leadership experience.
• Proven leadership with coaching and development of teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and operational workflows.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; resident of the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality service, and on-time delivery.
• Coach and develop a team of supervisors and technicians, fostering safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence through resource planning, cost control, productivity improvement, and process optimization.
• Monitor workshop performance via KPIs and implement improvements for efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary operational contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
