Job summary

About the Role

As a SAP Business Process Lead, you will be responsible for leading one of the key business process areas and ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective, standardized processes and system solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, subject-matter experts and local sites to drive process design, implementation, testing, training and adoption. Depending on your area of expertise, you may focus on Make, Maintain, Quality, Plan, Deliver, Finance or R&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned business process area within the transformation program.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
• Define and document future-state processes.
• Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners and IT teams.
• Support system/process design and configuration activities.
• Coordinate and support testing, UAT and issue resolution.
• Ensure business processes are aligned across different sites and functions.
• Support preparation of work instructions, process documentation and training materials.
• Support key users and end users during implementation.
• Drive user adoption and support change management activities.
• Identify process risks, gaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in go-live preparation and deployment activities.
• Provide support during go-live and stabilization/hypercare.
• Ensure successful handover of processes to the operational organization.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the assigned process domain.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a SAP Business Process Lead, Process Manager, Process Owner, Functional Lead, Business Process Consultant or similar.
• Strong experience in at least one of the relevant process areas.
• Experience with business transformation, ERP implementation or process improvement projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong understanding of process design and standardization.
• Experience with requirements gathering and translating business needs into functional solutions.
• Experience with testing, UAT, training and implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Experience with international rollouts or multi-site implementations is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch or another European language is an advantage.
