Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking an experienced SAP Implementation Lead to coordinate deployment activities across four Netherlands locations and seven process areas. You will be the key liaison between the central project team and local site stakeholders, ensuring readiness, testing, and effective go-live execution.

The role requires hands-on coordination, strong stakeholder management, and change management skills, with fluency in English and exposure to SAP Activate, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Cloud

• Proven experience as Deployment Lead or similar role.
• Experience on large-scale IT/SAP or business transformation projects.

• Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.

About the Company

Our client is a leading international organization undergoing a major business and digital transformation across multiple Netherlands locations. As part of this transformation, the organization is rolling out new processes and systems across several sites and business areas. To support the next phase of this European rollout, we are looking for an experienced SAP Implementation Lead who can coordinate deployment activities across multiple locations and ensure that each site is fully prepared for a successful go-live.

About the Role

As a SAP Implementation Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the deployment and implementation activities across four Netherlandslocations and seven process areas. You will act as the key coordination point between the central project team, local site teams, key users and other stakeholders. Your focus will be on ensuring deployment readiness, coordinating testing and training, supporting adoption, managing go-live activities and ensuring a smooth transition into business operations. This is a hands‑on coordination role requiring strong stakeholder management, project coordination and change‑management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment activities across four Netherlands locations and seven process areas.
• Ensure each site is fully prepared and meets the required deployment and go-live readiness criteria.
• Act as the main coordination point between the central project team and local site stakeholders.
• Coordinate and support local key users and subject matter experts throughout the deployment.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance and business process testing.
• Support the preparation and delivery of training for key users and end users.
• Ensure local work instructions and process documentation are prepared, updated and available before go-live.
• Monitor user adoption and support local teams in transitioning to the new processes and ways of working.
• Coordinate go-live and cutover activities at the assigned locations.
• Identify deployment risks, issues and dependencies and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
• Track deployment progress, milestones and readiness across all locations.
• Maintain effective communication between project teams, local management and business stakeholders.
• Provide hands‑on support during go-live and the initial stabilization/hypercare period.
• Ensure a structured operational handover from the project team to the local business and support organization.
• Capture lessons learned and ensure outstanding actions are followed up after deployment.
• These activities align closely with standard deployment practices, where readiness, testing, training, cutover, user adoption and operational support are key elements of a successful go-live.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Deployment Lead, Site Deployment Lead, Rollout Lead, Implementation Lead, Project Lead or similar role.
• Experience working on large-scale IT, ERP, SAP or business transformation projects.
• Experience coordinating multi-site or international rollouts.
• Strong understanding of deployment readiness and go‑live preparation.
• Experience coordinating testing, UAT and business process validation.
• Experience with training, change management and user adoption.
• Experience working with key users, SMEs and local business stakeholders.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple locations, workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience preparing or coordinating local work instructions and process documentation.
• Comfortable working in an international and cross‑functional environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify risks and resolve deployment issues.
• Willingness to support sites during critical go‑live and hypercare periods.
• Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Experience with SAP Activate, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud ALM or similar deployment methodologies is an advantage.
