Job summary

VML Netherlands, part of WPP, is seeking a Marketing Technology Consultant to lead engagements, architect Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, and coordinate cross-functional delivery across digital marketing platforms. The role requires hands-on cloud solution design, pre-sales collaboration, and global client exposure.

The candidate should have 3+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, strong SQL and data-architecture skills, and a solid web development background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Familiarity with data architecture/schema and ability to read or develop SQL queries.
• Familiarity with server-side web development languages and protocols (HTML, XML, JavaScript, HTTP, CSS) and with SOAP/REST APIs.
• Proficiency in English at business level; resident in The Netherlands; eligible to work without visa; able to attend an office weekly.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative engagements with clients on the technical and business challenges related to their communication initiatives.
• Create, manage and present an actionable blueprint that aligns a client's business needs to that of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution.
• Design, build and deliver the Technology solution; Core is on Salesforce technology.
• Be part of the Sales team to help with pre-sales activities and pitches.
• Manage multiple client engagements and work with associated team members.
