Job summary

NN Re in The Hague is seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Application Manager to strengthen its Salesforce landscape and drive data-driven growth. You will govern the platform, improve data quality and user adoption, and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into performance and priorities.

This is a freelance assignment in the NN Group family, based in The Hague, with a 28–36 hour workweek. The role starts as soon as possible and runs until December 2027, offering a challenging

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Application Manager who can help NN Re strengthen its Salesforce landscape and further accelerate its ambition to become a data-driven organization. Salesforce is at the heart of our business processes, and you will play a key role in ensuring the platform continues to support our strategic objectives while enabling sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What you are going to do

• The Salesforce Claims Module has been successfully implemented and adopted by the business
• Governance, documentation, auditability and control maturity have demonstrably improved
• Data quality, completeness and user adoption targets are consistently achieved
• Stakeholders have clear visibility of system performance, risks and priorities
• Knowledge has been transferred effectively, enabling a successor to independently perform the role

  Who you are

  • You are a proactive and approachable professional who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders. You are able to challenge constructively, communicate clearly and translate complex topics into practical solutions.

  In addition, you bring

  • Experience within insurance, reinsurance or financial services environments
  • Knowledge of treaty management, premium administration and/or claims processes
  • Proven experience with Salesforce implementations or significant platform enhancements
  • Experience designing and implementing governance and operating models
  • Experience working within integrated application landscapes and data ecosystems
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A hands-on mentality combined with a structured way of working
