Job summary

NN Re, the reinsurance arm of NN Group, in The Hague, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Application Manager to strengthen its Salesforce landscape and accelerate its data-driven ambitions. You will ensure the platform supports strategic objectives while enabling sustainable growth and operational excellence.

As part of a hybrid work model, you will deliver governance, data quality, and user adoption improvements; implement the Salesforce Claims Module; manage stakeholders; and

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services environments.
• Knowledge of treaty management, premium administration and/or claims processes.
• Proven experience with Salesforce implementations or significant platform enhancements.
• Experience designing and implementing governance and operating models.
• Experience working within integrated application landscapes and data ecosystems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Hands-on mentality with a structured way of working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver governance, documentation, auditability and control maturity improvements.
• Ensure data quality, completeness and user adoption targets are met.
• Provide visibility of system performance, risks and priorities to stakeholders.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer enabling a successor to independently perform the role.
• Support and drive the successful implementation/adoption of the Salesforce Claims Module.

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Application Manager who can help NN Re strengthen its Salesforce landscape and further accelerate its ambition to become a data-driven organization. Salesforce is at the heart of our business processes, and you will play a key role in ensuring the platform continues to support our strategic objectives while enabling sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What you are going to do

This is a temporary assignment with a clear objective. By the end of your engagement, you will have successfully delivered the following outcomes:

• The Salesforce Claims Module has been successfully implemented and adopted by the business
• Governance, documentation, auditability and control maturity have demonstrably improved
• Data quality, completeness and user adoption targets are consistently achieved
• Stakeholders have clear visibility of system performance, risks and priorities
• Knowledge has been transferred effectively, enabling a successor to independently perform the role

You are a proactive and approachable professional who enjoys working with a broad range of stakeholders. You are able to challenge constructively, communicate clearly and translate complex topics into practical solutions. In addition, you bring:

• Experience within insurance, reinsurance or financial services environments

NN Re is the reinsurance company of NN Group. With approximately 70 colleagues representing more than 30 nationalities, we provide reinsurance and risk hedging solutions across NN Group. You will join the Reinsurance Solutions team, consisting of 17 highly skilled professionals who collaborate closely to deliver innovative and sustainable reinsurance solutions. At NN we work hybrid. We combine working from home with working in the office and provide the flexibility to determine the most effective way of working together. Location: The Hague As Salesforce Functional Application Manager, you will be based in our modern office in The Hague. The office is conveniently located next to the A12 motorway and is easily accessible by public transport. Looking for a break during the day? The beach is less than 30 minutes away by bike or tram.
