Job summary

Booking.com in Amsterdam is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to support development and implementation of new Salesforce features across the commercial organization and maintain existing Salesforce functionality and user adoption.

This one-year contract involves collaborating with Developers, Commercial Strategy and Operations Team, Business Development Managers, Campaign Managers, and other Booking Ads teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com platform.
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a service-oriented mindset, proficient in diagnosing issues, interpreting data, and recommending impactful solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to collaborative teamwork.
• Must have a strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Must have strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must have a demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with impacted stakeholders in gathering business requirements from end-users, and document the proposals for system design and improvements;
• Implement features within Salesforce with a focus on automation and efficiency through Flows & automations for a seamless end to end experience.
• Performs system administration functions such as user management (profiles and roles), field and validation rule configuration, Workflow rules, Lightning Flows, record types, picklists, page layout management, data management;
• Provide training and user-assistance, support adoption and create satisfaction;
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards as well as Salesforce data quality.
• Act as the first line of support for issues, escalating to Salesforce Support or developers as needed.
• Maintain a Knowledge Base of frequent issues and solutions.
• Network on operational, managerial and strategic level across the department

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting development and implementation of new Salesforce features across the commercial organization as well as maintaining existing Salesforce functionality and ensuring user satisfaction and adoption. You actively support platform development strategy by understanding user needs as well as working closely with Developers, Commercial Strategy and Operations Team, Business Development Managers, Campaign Managers, and other teams within Booking Ads.

This role is a one-year contract.
