Job summary

Samyang Europe B.V. is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our European Sales team in Amstelveen. You will process customer orders, coordinate with procurement, supply chain and demand planning, and provide timely updates to customers.

The ideal candidate has a customer‑oriented mindset, strong organization, and thrives in an international environment. Fluent English is required; Korean is a plus. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems, and solid MS Office skills, especially Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/administration or related field.
• 1–3 years in sales support, order management or customer service.
• Fluent English; Korean is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills with Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and on time.
• Prepare and communicate purchase orders, pro forma invoices, and commercial invoices.
• Ensure all sales documents are complete and compliant.
• Act as go-to contact for customers on order status and updates.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure smooth delivery.
• Maintain ERP/CRM records and support reporting tasks.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth processing of customer orders and serve as a key contact point for customers across Europe. You will coordinate with internal teams (procurement, supply chain, demand planning) to ensure timely and accurate processing of sales orders, and you will support customers with updates and general inquiries. The ideal candidate has a customer-centered mindset, is well organized, and thrives in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor's degree (or MBO/HBO) in Business, Administration, or a related field
• 1-3 years' experience in a sales support, order management, or customer service role (preferably FMCG, food, or trading industry)
• Fluent in English (spoken & written), Korean is a plus
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, or similar)
• Knowledge of Dutch or another major European language
• Prior experience in an international environment

Key responsibilities

Order & Documentation Management

• Process customer orders accurately and on time
• Prepare and communicate purchase orders, pro forma invoices, and commercial invoices
• Ensure all sales-related documentation is complete, correct, and aligned with company procedures.

Customer Communication

• Act as the go-to contact for customers regarding order status, delivery updates, and general questions
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Build strong relationships with customers by proactively addressing their needs and requests

Internal Coordination

• Liaise with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless order handling and delivery
• Follow up internally to resolve issues that may delay customer orders
• Share customer feedback and insights with the Sales team to support continuous improvement

Support & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records in ERP and CRM systems
• Support the Sales team with administrative tasks, reporting, and customer data management
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency
