Job summary

Samyang Europe B.V. is seeking an experienced accountant to support monthly and year-end close for NL and UK entities. You will collaborate with the Closing Lead and the F&A Team Leader to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years of experience, strong month-end closing expertise, and hands-on SAP FI knowledge. Fluency in English and keen attention to deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years accounting experience.
• Hands-on month-end closing and external audits experience.
• Working knowledge of Dutch GAAP or IFRS; UK GAAP a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly closing of NL and UK entities, including accruals, provisions and closing adjustments.
• Review general ledger entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform intercompany and internal reconciliations with HQ and group entities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and respond to auditor queries during interim and year-end audits.
• Provide closing data for HQ reporting and management reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with month-end closing and external audits
• Working knowledge of SAP FI (other ERP experience considered)
• Understanding of Dutch GAAP or IFRS; knowledge of UK GAAP is a plus
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Accurate, structured and comfortable working to tight closing deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-entity closing or consolidation
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution company

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly closing of NL and UK entity, including accruals, provisions and closing adjustments
• Review general ledger entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform intercompany and internal reconciliations (AR/AP, revenue and cost of sales) with HQ and group entities
• Prepare supporting schedules and respond to auditor queries during interim and year-end audits
• Provide closing data for HQ reporting and management reports
