Job summary

IMI Hydronic Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to assist the sales process, advise customers on HVAC solutions, and ensure smooth order handling. You will be the first point of contact for partners and work closely with the field sales team to deliver fast, accurate information and quotations.

You bring at least 2 years in a comparable role, solid HVAC knowledge, Salesforce CRM experience, and strong Dutch and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• MTS/MBO level 3/4 (technical vocational education).
• Knowledge of HVAC applications.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• At least 2 years in a similar role.
• Dutch speaker with strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact for partners with questions and provide the right solution by phone or email.
• Support the sales process, advise customers on HVAC solutions and handle quotations.
• Coordinate with account managers and other (technical) departments within IMI.
• Turn opportunities in the market into concrete results with the sales team.
• Maintain customer relations and ensure smooth order handling.

What will you do?

As a Sales Support Engineer, you are our first point of contact for partners with questions, mainly installers, wholesalers, and end customers. Together with your colleagues in the field sales team, you are responsible for providing these partners with the best possible support. Whether it concerns technical, logistical, or commercial questions, you provide the right solution by phone or email regarding all products and services of IMI Hydronic Engineering.

As a Sales Support Engineer, you will have a versatile role in which you act as the link between our partners, the account managers, and other (technical) departments within IMI.

To be successful as a Sales Support Engineer at IMI, you already have some experience in a customer-focused and commercial environment. You enjoy interacting with both internal and external customers and see it as a challenge to convert quotation requests into deals. Work experience in the HVAC industry is preferred.

What we ask:

• MTS/MBO level 3/4 (technical vocational education)
• Knowledge of HVAC applications
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce)
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• We are looking for a communicative Dutch speaker
• Good command of the English language

The Sales Support Team

From the office in Bodegraven, IMI Hydronic Engineering works daily with the team to serve customers in the Dutch market and achieve the set objectives.

As a Sales Support Engineer, you will join an enthusiastic and driven inside sales team. Assigned to a specific region, you will work closely with colleagues in the field sales team to efficiently provide customers with the right information and quotations. You will be supported by the latest software and training within our field. In addition, you will be part of a friendly and close-knit team where colleagues support one another.
