Job summary
Moxy and Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Sales & Reservations Intern to join a small but mighty commercial team. You will support the reservations process, assist the Sales Manager with daily tasks, and help ensure guests, clients and partners enjoy a seamless experience from first contact to checkout.
Strong English communication, a proactive attitude, and comfort with Microsoft Office are key. Dutch is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong written & spoken English communication is required.
- Dutch language is a plus.
- Service-minded, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Able to work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager with day-to-day sales tasks.
- Support reservations via phone, email, and online platforms (Marriott systems).
- Coordinate with Accounts, guests and clients to confirm details and requests.
- Prepare event orders, rooming lists, and billing instructions.
- Ensure accurate data entry in systems like Opera and MARSHA.
- Collaborate with Front Office and F&B to deliver outstanding service.
