Job Scope

As a Sales Representative, you are responsible for driving revenue growth across your territory by promoting DiaSorin’s diagnostic solutions and building strong, long-term customer partnerships. You translate strategic marketing plans into impactful sales actions, manage your pipeline proactively, and act as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals and lab managers as well as key accounts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Business Development

  • Develop and grow sales within your assigned territory, ensuring achievement of revenue targets and forecasts
  • Identify, prospect, and convert new customers while expanding existing accounts
  • Promote DiaSorin’s product portfolio through solution-based selling (instruments, reagents, and services)
  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, laboratories, and clinical settings

Territory & Account Management

  • Plan and execute structured customer visits aligned with business priorities
  • Manage and maintain an accurate pipeline using Salesforce (opportunities, forecasts, activities)
  • Prepare customer proposals, quotations, and follow-ups in coordination with management
  • Monitor contracts and ensure optimal customer satisfaction

Strategic Alignment & Reporting

  • Translate marketing strategy into territory-level action plans
  • Provide regular reporting: visit reports, sales forecasts, market insights, and activity tracking
  • Contribute to monthly forecast & business reviews including sales planning discussions
  • Share competitive intelligence and market trends to support business strategy
  • Work closely with Sales Manager and General Manager on key opportunities and investments
  • Participate in congresses, seminars, and industry events to strengthen brand visibility
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, service, and application teams

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the IVD/diagnostics industry
  • Strong knowledge of microbiology, endocrinology, and/or random-access analyzers
  • Proven ability to deliver results and exceed sales targets
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with excellent relationship-building skills
  • High level of autonomy, proactivity, and accountability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and positive attitude
  • High level of integrity and compliance with company policies
  • Ability to gain market share through a rigorous, proactive sales approach and a strong “hunter” mindset focused on new business acquisition

Technical & Language Skills

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French would be a plus)
  • Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 80% across the Netherlands (and occasional international travel)
