Job summary

ID Contractors B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking a sales representative to expand our commercial presence in the construction sector. You will build and maintain relationships with existing clients and actively pursue new assignments, preparing quotations and following up to secure projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure client expectations are exceeded and targets are met. A commercial mindset, local market knowledge, and a willingness to visit clients regularly

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an external sales role, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Confident communicator with negotiation and presentation skills.
• Driving licence category B and willingness to visit clients regularly.

Job description

For our commercial team in Amsterdam, we are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven sales representative. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients in the construction sector. You will proactively bring in new assignments, prepare quotations and follow these up diligently. You will also identify market developments and new opportunities for ID Contractors. You will work closely with project managers and operational teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded and the company's commercial targets are met.

Requirements

• MBO or HBO level of thinking and working, preferably in a commercial or technical field
• At least 3 years of experience in an external commercial role, preferably in construction or engineering
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Driving licence category B and willingness to make regular client visits
