Job summary

Qabird in Leiden is seeking a motivated intern to assist in marketing and business development for their innovative neonatal care product. This role involves lead generation, social media planning, and organizing events within a dynamic start-up environment.

The ideal candidate is a high potential student or recent graduate in business-related fields, with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills in English. Compensation ranges from €300 to €500 monthly. This internship offers unique growth opportunities in the medical field.

We exist to help babies to win in the first minutes of life, especially those that are born too soon or who need extra support. The Concord Birth Flow® with the Concord Birth Trolley® allows us to keep the cord intact until the baby is fully stable. A shock‑free birth for every baby is our mission. We are a startup spun‑out of Leiden University Medical Center and have launched our brand‑new product. We are now focusing on sales and marketing to grow worldwide and scale up. Our goal for the next years is to implement the Concord Birth Flow in a growing number of hospitals across the world.

Qualifications

• High potential student in a Bachelor’s study or recent graduate in economics, (international) business, or other business‑related studies.
• Proactive and enthusiastic working attitude, quick learner, hands‑on and business‑savvy.
• Capability to identify business and growth opportunities and not shy to bring them forward.
• Strong, professional communicator in English with an eye for detail; Dutch and additional language skills are preferred.
