Job summary

The North Face in Amsterdam is seeking a passionate Sales Associate to join our team in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment. You will build genuine connections with customers, share product knowledge, and uphold store presentation while supporting stock, merchandising, and daily operations.

Ideal candidates bring retail or customer service experience, a love for outdoor lifestyles, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

How You Will Make a Difference

As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our customers while bringing The North Face brand to life on the sales floor.

Customer Experience

• Deliver exceptional customer service by building genuine connections with customers.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Share your knowledge of The North Face products, technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure every customer leaves the store feeling inspired and valued.

Store Operations

• Support day-to-day store activities, including replenishment, stock handling, and merchandising.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and stock organization.
• Support opening and closing procedures when required.

Commercial Performance

• Contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets.
• Promote current collections, campaigns, and loyalty programs.
• Help create a positive and energetic shopping environment.

Teamwork

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Support a culture of inclusivity, respect, and continuous learning.
• Act as a proud ambassador for The North Face and VF Corporation.

What You Bring

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Passion for the outdoors, sports, fashion, or active lifestyles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Language Requirements

• Good command of English.
• Dutch is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
• Additional languages are a plus given Amsterdam's international customer base.
